Meet the Kuhls
Who We Are
We are Liz and Dan Kuhl!
We met and married in Massachusetts. However, being a Michgander, Liz always imagined raising a family back on her native heath. So, now with two small sons in tow, we made the move back to Michigan in spring 2020. We’re so glad to be home and finally living the dream on our small farm in Chelsea, Kuhl Kitchen Gardens!

Why and How the farm came to be
Despite her previous career in education, Liz always felt her long-term work lay in farming, and we wanted to build a lifestyle for our sons that would keep them close to and better in tune with the natural rhythms of the earth. Liz now works full-time on the farm as well as caring for two boys, while Dan works full-time off the farm (but still does his fair share of the chores ;-).
